Renaissance of Culture Ghana – Malta

The Renaissance of Culture between Ghana and Malta refers to the rekindling and strengthening of cultural ties between the two countries. Both Ghana and Malta have a rich history and culture that dates back centuries, and this initiative seeks to promote cultural exchange and cooperation between the two nations.

The initiative was launched in 2019 when Ghana’s Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Barbara Oteng-Gyasi, visited Malta to discuss ways of promoting cultural and tourism cooperation between the two countries. During her visit, she met with Malta’s Minister for Justice, Culture and Local Government, Owen Bonnici, and they discussed ways of promoting cultural exchanges between the two countries.

The initiative aims to promote cultural and artistic cooperation through a range of activities such as art exhibitions, music festivals, film screenings, and cultural performances. The objective is to strengthen the cultural ties between Ghana and Malta, which will lead to the promotion of cultural understanding and cooperation.

The Renaissance of Culture initiative is also expected to boost tourism between the two countries.
